Mum and I have had another GREAT day!!! Here we are from the campground in town... in the distance is my house!!! The sun finally came out and shone...but I think the high was around 14C or so!!!!

I have been car and house sitting for friends while they are in the south on holidays...in the fall they are moving to Iqaluit...
soooo today I drove their car down to the beach to put on the ship! It was so nice having wheels for the last few weeks---Since Pang doesn't have a 'deep-sea harbour'...they ship stays anchored out in the middle of the fjord...and they load the goods...onto this barge..then tug boat it over! (it's quite a FUN process to watch....especially if you've never seen it happen before!)

Once it gets to the beach...the front end loaders?(
i'll have to check with Samuel *my 3yr old nephew* if that's what they are called?!) take everything OFF and stack it in areas with 'like' things....its a pretty fast and awesomely
orchestrated event... with three massive front end loaders..
.jpg)
One of the front end loaders.... on the door it had a label "Anna"... it made me chuckle....and then I realized that the ship is called ANNA....(one of the men working from the ship.. had it on his life jacket!)
...driving the car into the C-Can....(not sure if that's SEA-Can...or See-can or C-can...)
LOL.jpg)
...taking it for a little ride......
.jpg)
...loading it onto the barge... to take to the ship.. which will take it to Montreal...and then back again to Iqaluit!!! :)

...off it goes!!! :)

*until next time--sorry for ALL the posts today!!! YIKES!! i've gone post happy!!!!

Hi Aunt Sarah,
I like the pictures of the loaders. You are right, they are front end loaders.
Have a good day!
Love, Samuel
Hi Samuel...
Thanks for the help... i'm going to have to take photos of the HUGE dump truck that's helping build a road in front of my house... I'm sure you'd like that too!!
Love, Aunt Sarah! :)
