a Walk at Low Tide!

Mum and I went for a walk in front of my house... past the 'flag' at the campsite...the sign says: 66'09 degrees North 65'42 degrees West: Pisuktinu Tungavik Territorial Campsite.... pretty nifty now that I know the latitude and longitude for my house!!

Mum opted to sit on this nice rock...and enjoy the view.... (out in front of my house)... while I decided to walk out on the tidal plane at low tide.....I've been wanting to do this for a bit... the main objective was to get CLOSER to the big sea lift ship!

I climbed down these rocks.... Mum decided to wave from the top!!!

..here's Mum at the top of the hill... she's definitely got some 'posing' skills... I wonder where she picked those up from!?

Ok.. so onto my adventure..... here's a view of town......

There's a picture sealift ship... you can see the boxes on the barge as it waits to be transported to shore during high tide.... lots of people in town are going to be excited to have their sea lift orders!! (groceries/non-perishables for a year that come up by ship......)

My muddy boots.... so apparently the mud is a bit deep... and almost like quick sand... (i almost lost my boot and had to go digging.... i sunk into it almost up to my knee!!)

My muddy trail...and the sea lift ship in the backgroud....all in all it was a fun adventure for both Mother and Daughter!! :)
