Travelling Arctic Style...

Mum admitted to me last night...that seeing so many people riding in the back of trucks has reminded her of her childhood. (apparently back in the day...she rode frequently in the back of trucks except with Uncle Don--who thought it was very unsafe and in all reality he is right..)..Today we walked into town and visited Uqqurmiut and the Tapestry Studio... we wanted to see the Olympic Tapestry...later today it will be on public display and then shipped to Vancouver!! (We possibly will head back down then) After this little walk/outting... I left mum enjoying the view at the Parks Centre...and I went on to the post office (more about that later).. and ran into a co-worker and asked for a lift back to my house..... Sooooo all these words basicly are meant to say Mum got to ride in the back of a truck again..... When I asked her "was it as good as she remembered?"

Her reply was, "YES! I don't remember it as being quite so bumpy though" (well Pang isn't as big as the metropolis of Haliburton... we don't have paved roads...just dusty; bumpy dirt ones!)
