Blowing in the wind....

FLOWERS!!!!

My plant has started to flower!!! This past spring my friend Amy gave me this little kit that had a tiny little pot with tiny little black seeds. I planted them--and waited...and waited and waited..(while watering them)....before I went on holiday in May (like 5weeks AFTER i planted them) I had tiny little sprouts!! I took my tiny pot back to Amy's so she could keep water them....when I came back she had transplanted my sprouts into this container...(I'm thinking I need a new container!!)...and then yesterday I had my FIRST flower...and today there were 2 more.... I still don't know WHAT it is...but remembering back to my greenhouse days... it sure reminds me of some kind of Portulaca (not sure of that spelling!).... but I'm enjoying it... I haven't had a plant in AGES!!!! pretty cool eh? ..sitting on my kitchen window sill....looking pretty!!

Everything here needs something to put it into perspective- how big do you think that these flowers on the tundra are?

A bit of moss, it was pretty cool walking on this...spongey and bouncy but way fun!
