This week has gone quickly. I've had a few 'night' meetings but have managed to go to two movies! Tuesday night I saw "The Time Travellers Wife" which was so good. It was a love story, tragic but good....(and I must admit when I heard the hobby of the Girl's dad--i realized it would be bad news in the ending, and it was--but don't want to spoil anything!)... I must admit I'm a HUGE chick flick kind of gal--and this one didn't disappoint me. I even cried--and well my friend Rozy that went with me, know is making fun of that. (but frankly I think getting in touch with one's emotions once and awhile--is an ok thing to do!) I cant' wait to read the book--after the movie I posted on Facebook how I had gone and how I enjoyed it. Tons of friends commented and told me I'd enjoy the book. I had decided to find out if anyone in Pang had a copy--and then try to order it from Chapters(slippery slope of Internet shopping)...but then a friend sent me a message that basically said, "Don't buy--I have a copy for you in my care package!" I was like RIGHT on! that's amazing!
Last night our evening meeting was cancelled. So my colleague from Cambridge Bay and I headed out to the movies again. It was the $5 night--and I tried to pay--honest I did but he just gave me back my $20--even when i said "I don't have a $5 bill"---it was weird very weird. But well I tried 3 times to give him the money--but he waved me on...(weird i tell you--but he did give me a ticket)... I went to see Julie and Julia---or was it Julia and Julie? again this movie did NOT disappoint me. Mum you were right--i did LOVE it!!! At times I was killing myself laughing--especially when she was on her 'Cobb salad lunch'! I guess part of me could also relate about the blogging. Sometimes I often wonder if people are reading this...or if it's just my Mum, and brothers and sister-in-laws and a small collection of cousins.. and I guess it doesn't really matter WHO reads it..I do it for me (but it is nice to have readers too!) Julie turning 30 and starting this project also made me think--in 3 months time I'll be leaving my 20s behind.. and be GASP... 30! (and well I'm not sure how I feel about that). I feel still really young (which I know I am--you don't need to comment about that)..but at times I feel old--and not sure where the time has gone past! Last summer it hit home when a 'kid' I use to babysit got married--and invited me to the wedding. Where do the years go? and how come I still feel youngish like 21...and I'm not? those are some questions to ponder I guess!
Well tonight is going to be a fun night--need to have some dinner and then meeting friends to go out...and tomorrow morning I fly back to Pang--as long as the wind isn't gusting too much! (the plane landed this morning--but it was a bumpy landing!)

I'm reading! And by the way, super jealous of you getting to go see movies!
I'm reading too! Did I ever tell you that my late, step-father-in-law (don't ask me to explain) use to be the city manager of Iqaluit.
