Newbie in the Arctic

Mum and I had a 'very' busy day today here in Pang.  We headed out to do some running around the Hamlet.  First stop was to the Northern this afternoon, groceries needed to be picked up.  About 1/2 way there someone with a vehicle stopped to pick us up, it was nice to get a drive.  After our trip at the Northern we headed to the Post Office to get mail, went to the Co-op and then to the Print Studio.... Mum bought me a 'Pang' hat....(I've been wanting one, for awhile.  I just wanted a 2nd opinion on the hat. I will have to post a photo when I have one!

After stopping at the Hamlet Office to pay a water bill... we walked home... and while walking past the beach..it was low tide... mum was like... "WOW! the boats are all stranded!" So of course I took a photo! Trying again for a 'self' portrait...I'm going to have to get someone to take a photo of the two of us together before Mum leaves!!

Tonight we went to the Auyuittuq Lodge for dinner.  We walked to the Lodge but then got a lift from someone staying there on the way home!  Our dinner was amazing... soup, roast beast and then chocolate cake with blueberries on the top!!!

Just after we got to the Lodge we were looking out the windows at the view, and we saw a RAINBOW!
