So tonight after work at low tide (wow that's a like a tongue twister!) I took my brand new fishing rod, lure and in my RUBBER BOOTS went to the end of the road to fish!
I was pretty excited...although I may as a kid been in a boat and held a rod before...I dont' think I EVER had my own--or do I remember catching any fish...but I possibly need to be corrected in those memories!? who knows!
..I'm still trying to figure out when the best time to 'release' the reel when you cast..but I didn't do that badly!!! After a couple of hours, Devon and Kendra and I decided to head back home... no one caught any fish!!
To get out to the rocks we fish at...we had to climb over all this seaweed and rocks covered in these 'crunchy' little guys... at the moment their name escapes me!
Kendra was my teacher--she helped me string up my rod and put my lure on and taught me a cool way to tie it so that it won't come loose! Thanks Kendra!! :)
